Grand Traverse Pavilions is now accepting applicants for Nurse Aide training. Applicants must be available Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, beginning 11/01/2021 through 11/12/2021. After successful completion of 10 day program, candidates must be able to work afternoon or midnight shift (8 or 12 hour shifts available), with a starting wage, upon CNA certification, of $17.00 per hour, plus 40 cent shift differential & 50 cent weekend differential. CNAs are also eligible for $2.35/hour Essential Worker Bonus. Full time positions offer excellent benefits including health, dental and vision coverage, longevity bonus, retirement plans, and generous paid time off system. Licensed Social Worker

Grand Traverse Pavilions is currently accepting applications for a motivated and compassionate full time Licensed Social Worker (40 hours per week). The chosen candidate will be responsible for medically related social, emotional, behavioral, cultural, and spiritual needs of our Residents, in addition to conducting psychosocial assessments, developing plans of care, MDS completion, and other duties as assigned. Required training and experience include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work, and a Social Worker License. Three years of experience in medical social services or Long Term Care preferred. Life Enrichment Coordinator Part-Time

Grand Traverse Pavilions is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to work Part-Time ( 24 hours per week). The position plans and oversees an ongoing seven (7) day a week creative and exciting life enrichment program to meet the needs and interests of our Assisted Living residents. In this position you will develop a monthly life enrichment calendar to include intergenerational activities and community outings appropriate for our residents. This position will require some weekends and evenings. The starting wage for this position is $16.10, and benefits include retirement plan with employer contribution, generous paid time off program, longevity compensation, and on-site gym access. Certified Nurse Aide - CNA

Grand Traverse Pavilions is accepting applications for Full-time, Part-time or On-Call Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) for either 8 or 12 hour shifts. CNAs perform basic resident care activities and related non-professional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents. Must be 17 years of age, and at least 18 years of age to work the 10:30-6:30 or 6:30pm-7:00am 8 or 12 hour shifts. Must have already completed a recognized Nurse Aide Training program and obtain a current State of Michigan certification. Full-time positions offer a starting wage of $17.00/hour, .40 cents/hour shift differential and .50 cents/hour weekend differential. Universal Worker

Grand Traverse Pavilions is currently accepting applications for full-time Universal Workers on all shifts to work in our Assisted Living setting. 8 or 12 hour shifts available. Duties may include direct hands-on assistance with meals, personal care, activities, light housekeeping, and laundry duties for Cottage Residents. Chief Executive Officer / Administrator

The Chief Executive Officer/Administrator will oversee the largest county-owned nursing facility in Michigan, with 240 licensed beds, 78 assisted living apartments and 3 independent living apartments.  The Grand Traverse Pavilions offers a continuum of care from long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehab care, respite, adult day care, to outpatient therapy.  The CEO/Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the Organization to include the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of those tasks required by laws, regulations, and the governing Department of Health and Human Services Board.  The CEO/Administrator represents the Grand Traverse Pavilions to the public and engages with community and business partners.  This individual will serve on affiliated boards for the Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation and PACE North. 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration or Business, or a minimum of 5 years successful experience as an administrator in a long-term setting.  A master’s degree is preferred.

·       Must possess a valid Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·       Ability to work collaboratively.

·       Skilled in planning, organizing, directing and controlling, as evidenced by previous successful job performance.

Campus Manager, RN

Grand Traverse Pavilions is accepting applications for a Registered Nurse to act as Campus Manager, full time, for 60 hours per 2 week pay period. The Campus Manager provides administrative oversight for the Grand Traverse Pavilions Campus, and works collaboratively with all nursing and non-nursing managers throughout the Organization to provide general direction, supervision, and consultation for the work and activities of campus-wide employees on assigned shift(s) of operation.  Responsibilities include developing, modifying and monitoring Organizational-wide employee staffing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels to the greatest extent feasible in all program areas. Child Care Assistant Full-time

Grand Traverse Pavilions is accepting applications for a Full-time Child Care Assistant in our "employee only" daycare center. Child Care hours of operation are 6:00am - 7:15pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends necessary but possible holidays. Experience working in an organized Child Care Center and with infants preferred. Launderer

Grand Traverse Pavilions is seeking full time Launderers to join our team. Full time positions are available on the AM shift (6:30am - 2:30pm) and Midnight shift (8:00pm - 6:30am) for 75 or 80 hours per 2 week pay period. Launderers perform organization and resident laundry to established levels of cleanliness and timeliness. Some weekends and holidays are required. Housekeeper On-Call

Grand Traverse Pavilions is now seeking applications for an On-Call Housekeeper. This position focuses on the cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices. Duties include but are not limited to; mopping floors, disinfecting and scrubbing surfaces, replenishing products, emptying garbage containers, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining supplies. Prior cleaning experience preferred but not necessary. Some weekends and holidays are required. Hourly wage for this position is $15.25. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.
