Foundation History

Whether you are an individual, family member, volunteer, or philanthropic business, your gift to the Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation will impact the lives of others.  Charitable giving is a way to live our values.  It is an important way to invest in our community and a viable way of giving back to it.

The Foundation cultivates constituent relationships that support the initiatives of Grand Traverse Pavilions and assure its viability for future generations.

Established in 1997, The Foundation oversees the development and fundraising endeavors of The Pavilions.

Comprised of community leaders, the Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation is charged with securing support for endowment and annual giving funds, major gift endeavors, memorials, tributes, charitable gift annuities, and special events.

Contributions to the Foundation are directed for programs and services that are not funded by traditional reimbursement.  Monies raised, for example, provide assistance for individuals on fixed incomes to access our varied multi-aged programs and services, including adult day and overnight respite, rehabilitation, assisted living, and long-term skilled nursing care.

Regardless of ability to pay, Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation strives to ensure that there is full access to the programs and services of the Pavilions.  The Foundation provided more than $4.5 million annually in benevolent care to members of our community.

URGENT NOTICE

In response to the reality of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak Grand Traverse Pavilions has determined that our Resident population is too vulnerable to risk having exposure to the influenza or pandemic infection.

Based on guidance from CMS, the CDC, and our Emergency Preparedness Team, we are restricting visitors until further notice for purposes other than approved medical care and services.

Now Hiring!

Now Hiring Certified Nurse Aides starting at $17.00/hour for full-time afternoon or midnight shifts!  CNAs perform basic resident care and are responsible in caring for the personal needs and comfort of our residents. Qualified candidates will be at least 17 years of age (18 for midnight shifts), have already completed a recognized Nurse Aide Training program, and obtained a current State of Michigan certification.

Beautification Project

Be part of our Campus Wide Beautification Project!  We will be accepting orders throughout the year to enhance our beautiful campus.  Bricks, Park Benches, Picnic Tables and more can be purchased!
