Position Details:
• Grand Traverse Pavilions is seeking a motivated, full time AM shift Housekeeper to join our team.
• Starting wage for this position is $19.52/hour.
• $5.00/hour for working Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• All employees must demonstrate that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Tasks:
• Dusts and damp mops floors in resident rooms, day rooms, dining rooms, pantries, med rooms, meeting rooms, lobby, lounge, and all other assigned areas.
• Cleans, dusts, and polishes mirrors, frames, light fixtures, shelves, furniture, elevators, stairways, inside windows, and all other appropriate areas that require cleaning.
• Disinfects all public, staff and resident restrooms including sinks, showers, toilet bowls, floors, and tile.
• Replenishes resident room supplies (i.e., soap, paper towels, light bulbs, toilet paper).
• Empties all wastebaskets and cares for cut flowers and plants throughout the Organization’s buildings.
• Vacuums, dusts, empties wastebaskets and cleans inside windows in all offices.
• Maintains housekeeping supply closet in a neat and orderly manner and resupply cleaning cart.
• Communicates to Supervisor any equipment and/or furniture needing repair.
• Cleans isolation units and resident rooms after resident's discharge and/or expiration, following approved housekeeping procedure.
• Completes all other related projects/duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
