Job Information: Recreational Therapist

• Grand Traverse Pavilions is seeking a full-time Recreational Therapist.
• Hourly wage $26.00.        
• Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Tasks:

·       Tailor an activities program/plan for each constituent as assigned, consistent with the constituent’s needs and desires.

·       Prepare a monthly activities calendar.

·       Work with supervisors to ensure adequate staff to support daily programming.  Assist with daily operation of program when necessary.

·       Provide staff development to assure satisfied, qualified, care givers for program, encouraging a positive, stimulating environment.

·       Work cooperatively with other departments to ensure a safe, clean and effective program.

Assist with coordinating special events and activities.
