Licensed Social Worker 

Grand Traverse Pavilions is now accepting applications for a full-time Licensed Social Worker. This position has a flex schedule Monday through Friday with no weekends. They are responsible for participation in Social Services planning; medically related social, emotional, behavioral, cultural and spiritual needs of the constituents; constituent care planning; and discharge planning. Skills in planning organizing, directing and controlling. Initiative for problem anticipation, prevention, and solving skills. The ability to maintain good public relations with constituents, employees, visitors, and the community. Have considerable knowledge of the policies and practices of social work. Be compatibility with gerontological nursing care as evidenced by empathy listening skills, and concern for the needs of the aged. Must have We do require that all applicants have a Bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work along with being licensed with the State of Michigan. 3 years of social services experience is a long term care setting preferred.
